May 20 (UPI) -- One person died and two others suffered from smoke inhalation exposure when an industrial building fire in Hollywood Thursday night damaged a large two-story building that included several recording studios. Reality television star Sharon Osbourne said their daughter was inside when the fire happened but managed to make it out safely. Advertisement The layouts of the recording studios, with many including extra insulation and double drywall to control sound, made fighting the fire challenging for crews, Los Angeles Fire Capt. Erik Scott told the Los Angeles Times. "This was a very challenging fire," Scott said, according to KABC-TV. "It was very compartmentalized inside because there were so many separate different recording studios. You had double drywall, you had insulation, you had soundproofing that really held in the heat. It was an extremely hot fire. Zero visibility. So hot, that it burned through the floor on the first floor."
